Keira Knightley had finally finished filming the movie Atonement, where she plays the role of Cecilia Tallis, and is now moving on to the move The Edgo of Love which is due to come out sometime in the year 2008. Latley she's been pretty busy and recently has been looking to just have a break. After all she deserved it right? Come on now she's already done 3 movies in the past year and has already started up on a fourth one. Everyone needs a break, and today was the day she was takeing her's.
Where to go though? It was around 10:30 and she was completely lost as to what she was going to do for the day. It was all her's which was a bit odd. Usually she would already be at the set of her next movie but today she found herself stareing at her reflection in the hotel bathroom. Keira had gotten out of a steamy shower only a moment ago and was getting ready for the day ahead. She could only hope that she was not swarmed by the paparazi who could ruin her entire day with just a snap of there camera.
You'd think by now she would be use to it. But she found that it would never be an easy thing to deal with. So at times she wouldn't mind if they got in a few shots, just as long as they didn't make up some story. That was the one thing she couldn't stand. Liars. Now Keira know's that lieing is just a natural part of the human nature but she was raised to speak her mind so at times it was a bit hard to deal with the hundreds of people who though making false statements about her life.
Pulling herself away from this deep thought, Keira had finally come to decide where her first stop of the day was going to be. She chose to keep her outfit simple with a gray tank top, black unzipped jacket, faded jeans, and chocolate brown boots cuffing over the jeans. Her final accesories were 2 gold necklaces and a pair of thick black glasses. There wasn't much she could do with her hair for it was still semi-short from cutting it for the movie Domino. No complaints from her though. She did what had to be done.
One final look and it was decided that she was ready. Keira quickly snatched up her purse along with the hotel key and slid out the door. Down the stairs she flew, and onto the crowded sidewalks. Instead of takeing the car she thought it was appropriate to walk considering the place was only a few blocks down. Plus from her point of view the excersize was nessasary.
"Mmm.." Keira let out a small moan at the smell of the freshly made coffe. She had finally made it to Starbucks, still no sign of the paprazi as she stepped in. Look's like she made it. Talk about lucky. "A grande latte please." Keira order, a half smile forming across her face as the coffe was slid over and she payed the woman.
Turning around she spotted an empty table and quickly made her way towards. Takeing a seat, she slid her glasses back on to her head and slowly sipped her Latte.

"Finally taking a break are you." Maggie chuckled seeing the much younger woman. She dind't talk with the younger people in Hollywood with the exception of her three young costars from the Harry Potter movies but from time to time one was bound to run into them. "What three movies in the last year already Keira. Keep it up and you're going to get more nomitntions thatn the rest of us in the bussiness combined." Once the old generation was gone the younger ones were going to do just fine.

Keira's eyes lit up, a bit surprised to notice that someone was speaking to her. Luckly it wasn't some adoreing fan or the paparazi like she thought she had avoided. Nope. It was Maggie Smith. The Harry Potter series, star. This was pretty intense though. Getting the chance to speak to someone who was amazingly talented and new more about the acting buisness than many Keira had the chance to speak with.
Keira couldn't help but laugh lightly at Maggie's remark before she came to reply. "Yea, it get's pretty intense. You of all people should know what it feels like." Her english acent flowed well as she kept gaze on the woman before her. "Here, take a seat. If your not busy that is." Keira could only hope she wasn't. It would be nice to just have a small coffe and chat with someone like Maggie. Deffinetly something she usually wasn't able to do.

"Intense is not the word for it sometimes." Maggie chuckled, "Warner Brothers finally decided to give me a bit of a break. Being surrouned by three teenagers all day is not the best thing to keep one sane." She had grown to care quite alot about Dan, Rupert, and Emma over the last few years but they were teenagers and nothing could be expected of them except what happened, "Alan dosn't help that much either."

"Hm true, it tends to get your blood rushing. Deffinetly exciting. I don't think my mom would be able to handle it though. She can't deal with even miner stress." Keira grinned, letting out a small giggle. Watching Maggie take a seat, Keira took another long sip of her latte as she listened to what all Maggie had to say.
"Ah, so true. They must be fun though!" Keira laughed, brushing her hair back behind her ears. "I know what you mean though. Orlando and Johnny could at times, be pains. But now that the trilogy is over I must admit I miss them loads. Luckly we were smart enough to keep in touch."

"We've got two more movies to shoot on Harry Potter sadly. Personally I don't think I'm going to last until the last one. Michle certinally isn't there's even talk of the kids not lasting. I know Emma is trying to get more money for the next ones." Maggie sipped at her tea. She was in Starbucks but she never had been one for coffee. Maybe it was an English thing. "Personally I'm ready to be over with them. sequarls and seriries get boring after a while."

"Sadly? I'd love to do a few more Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Unfortunatly though Gore, Ted, and Terry have decided that three is enough." Keira sighed, she understood there reasoning but she just had so much fun doing those three. "Then again you guys are doing-er 7? Thats quite alot. Makes sense with the amount of books though."
Keira gave a small shrug takeing a quick glance around the shop before returning her attention to Maggie. "Then again Daniel, Emma, and Rupert are growing up so fast! I'm not one who's read all of the Harry Potter books but don't the character's stay in there teens?" Keira thought for a moment about her last remark. "Scratch that I see twenty year olds playing 16 year olds all the time."

"It was fun in the begining but they're getting a bit boring in all actuality. They're growing up so fast seems just yesterday we were just starting the first movie and they were little eleven year olds that didn't know a thing about making a movie." She smiled, "It's not so much making them it's just trying to get used to everything again when we start shooting and how much they're changing. Everyone on the cast except Michle have read all the books and it really dosn't make any sense to anymore. The remade those Pirates movies you were in but they didn't change alot with Harry Potter they are."

"I suppose that all makes sense then. I've been told that there's been things added and deleted in the storylines for the movies. Guess that's what makes them different though. Plus usually when books are made into movies the writer is forced to make them smaller, by cutting out scenes. If they didn't do so the movie would be WAY to long." Keira had figured this out with the Lord of the Rings series. No she wasn't in the movie but she had read the books and had a chance to chat with Orlando about it all.

"Some of them would end up four and five hours long. The only movie I actually liked them chaganing so mcuh were those Princess Diaries ones Disney made a while back. One of my granddaughters dragged me along to see it and she didn't stay quiet a minut the entire time explaining how different it all was."

Keira giggled, as she continued to listen intently. "I honestly thought those movies were adorable! I understand what your granddaughter means though. I notice things weren't the same either." Keira had finally finished her coffe and was now spinning the cup around and around. "There were alot of scenes I wish they would have put into Eragon. If you read the books alot was different. As far as Lord of the Rings goes though, I'm kinda glad they didn't add all the extra stuff. Most was not needed, and besides the movie was long enough."

"There are alot of movies like that. THose Princess Diaries movies were quite cute Julie picked quite a movies to make her come back in. That was the first one she's made in quite a while the first one since her throat surgery I believe."

"Very good choice for her to get back into the buisness." Keira agreed giving a small nod of her head. "Is there anything I can get you? Coffe or something? On me of course." Keira found it appropriate to do such a thing. She enjoyed talking with Maggie and was hopeing to spend more time with her.
Keira's thoughts began to wonder as she messed with her finger nails. "You know I was wondering about the set of the newest Harry Potter film. Is it open to 'visitors'? I've always been curious as to how everythings set-up. There's just so much to the movie!"

"Being married to Blake Edwards she was bound to get back into movies sooner or later, you're simply not married to one of the best dircetros in the bussiness and not work on movies." Maggie chuckled, "I've got a cup of tea comming in a minut I think dear but thank you."
"Considering we're getting a new director I don't really know what he'll say about it but just tell security or whoever it is that you talked to me or whoever on the movie and you could probably get in."
